Gulshan 1 is the neighborhood where I grew up in dhaka. it's a place that exists in a constant state of flux, a shifting hyperreality that is never quite the same from one visit to the next. my upcoming release On Gulshan 1 is dedicated to these fragmented memories and how I relate to it living in nyc today.
